Independent Software Capability Evaluation Demonstrates Product's Effectiveness

Reston, VA--September 6, 2000--pragma SYSTEMS CORPORATION announced today that it has received the prestigious Level 3 Rating according to the Capability Maturity Model® for Software (SW-CMM). Two independent SEI-licensed Lead Evaluators confirmed this Level 3 achievement using the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) rigorous Software Capability Evaluation method.

The SEI's SW-CMM is intended to provide organizations with the framework for improving the maturity of their software development processes. Level 3 of the SW-CMM demonstrates pragma SYSTEMS' use of a defined process to develop and maintain processMax, the only product on the market that offers guaranteed compliance with the SW-CMM. pragma SYSTEMS is now a member of a select group---only 25% of assessed software organizations have reached Level 3 of the SW-CMM.
