Compliance With Level 3 of SW-CMM Guaranteed with processMax

Reston, Virginia (December 7, 2001)-pragma SYSTEMS CORPORATION today announced that the company's flagship product, processMax, will enable the Naval Ammunitions Logistics Center (NALC) to manage its software projects in compliance with Level 3 of the Capability Maturity Model® for Software (SW-CMM®). The NALC purchased processMax3 for 100 users off the General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule to shorten the timeframe in achieving compliance with the SW-CMM.

"Acceptance as an approved vendor on the GSA Schedule has been a real benefit for our government customers," explained Rebecca Bowerman, President and CEO of pragma SYSTEMS CORPORATION. "Working at Level 3 of the SW-CMM from the outset provides these agencies with the advantage of integrated document management and automated workflow from day one, while building a library of documentation to pass the independent appraisal."

With processMax, software organizations manage software development and maintenance projects with the power of their intranet web. Using a role-based approach to the management of software development, processMax provides managers and developers with step-by-step procedures, integrated document management, and automated workflow. processMax enables increased productivity, fewer defects, and reduced risk.
