Sales Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sell high value software and related professional services to government agencies, government contractors, and commercial organizations
  • Develop excellent client relationships to generate long-term recurring revenue streams and account development opportunities

pragma Systems’ marketing function supplies Sales Account Managers with pre-qualified prospects.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience selling to executives and senior managers in government or commercial organizations
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience selling high value software and consulting services, with a proven track record in achieving quota
  • Experience with a structured selling methodology, such as the Sandler Selling System
  • Excellent customer service skills (face-to-face and on the phone)
  • Must be sincere, authentic, and credible
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with good interpersonal skills
  • High energy, organized, and detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree, technical field preferred (computer science, mathematics, engineering)
  • Proof of US citizenship or authorization to work in the US
  • Non-smoker

Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge of software development project management practices
  • Knowledge of SW-CMM or CMMI

Compensation history must be verifiable. Positions are available in Northern Virginia.
